The Tigers begin a three game set against Cleveland tomorrow night and they’ll have to do it without Jim Leyland.
It was just announced that Leyland has been suspended for inappropriate conduct during Monday and Tuesday’s games. Leyland argued with umpires during both games. He was ejected from Monday’s game. On Tuesday, he was livid when the Tigers were denied an appeal from first on a Michael Young checked swing.
He was also fined an undisclosed amount.
